Native Union, makers of many accessories for many mobile devices, is aiming to fund their next product through Kickstarter. Deemed the JUMP, Native Union’s latest creation is an all-in-one affair: cable, battery, and intelligent circuitry.
The JUMP doesn’t aim to be an end-all-be-all for your battery needs. Instead, the JUMP aims to fit your lifestyle. Inside the JUMP is an 800 mAH battery that can further your battery life by 33%. According to Native Union, that’s 3 hours, 50 minutes of talk or data time, all weighing less than two AA batteries.
JUMP comes in both micro USB and Lightning versions, with a USB 2.0 port on the other end of the cable. When you have the JUMP plugged into your computer, both the JUMP and your phone is charged. Native Union deemed this technology AutoCharge. JUMP’s cable is 19 inches long and braided, so it’s sure to be durable.
The Kickstarter is aiming to raise $40,000 during the funding period, and offers three different backer rewards.
